Interested in one-on-one or small group writing lessons? I teach creative writing to both adults and children. Creative writing is an activity accessible to all ages and skill levels. I even teach English to ELL students using creative writing and it’s a blast!
I believe in teaching writing in a way that embraces all writers’ styles and passions. Too many higher level courses reinforce the idea that there is a “superior” form of writing. My goal is to create a safe, judgement-free space where students can embrace their interests and talents while continuing to grow their writing skills. My teaching focus is on structure and literary devices, not on a content, so that writers can feel free to pursue whatever subject they are passionate about.
